    Bangladesh announces T20I squad for upcoming series against West Indies

    New Delhi [India], December 15 (ANI): Bangladesh introduced their T20I squad on Sunday for the upcoming three-match sequence in opposition to the West Indies, as reported by the ICC.

    Quick bowler Nahid Rana, 22, has been included within the Bangladesh squad for the primary time on this format. The pacer, who has represented the senior workforce in six Assessments and three ODIs, is ready to make his T20I debut.

    Rana performed a key function in Bangladesh’s historic 2-0 Check sequence sweep in Pakistan and has taken 20 wickets within the longest format. He has additionally claimed 4 wickets in his transient ODI profession.

    Bangladesh are at the moment engaged in an all-format tour of the West Indies. After drawing the two-Check sequence 1-1, the guests suffered a 3-0 defeat within the ODI sequence. The T20I sequence will start on Monday, December 16, in St. Vincent.

    In the meantime, wicketkeeper-batter Shai Hope and left-handed batter Sherfane Rutherford have been excluded from the West Indies squad for the sequence because of their commitments in Australia’s Huge Bash League. Rovman Powell will as soon as once more captain the 15-member squad for the shortest format.

    The three-match T20I sequence will start on December 16, with the second and third matches scheduled for December 18 and 20. All matches will likely be held in St. Vincent.
