    Young Mother Killed, Child Injured in Marlie Mount Home Invasion

    Outdated Harbour, St Catherine — The St Catherine South police have confirmed {that a} 20-year-old lady who was shot throughout a house invasion in Marlie Mount on Monday morning has succumbed to her accidents.

    The deceased has been recognized as Dajahmae Wright, a resident of Marlie Mount and mom of a three-year-old youngster.

    In keeping with studies, round 4:40 a.m., Wright was at residence along with her youngster when a bunch of armed males posing as police personnel approached the home, shouting “police.” Upon opening the door, Wright was met with a barrage of gunfire. She sustained a number of gunshot wounds to the higher physique, whereas her youngster was shot within the left leg.

    Each had been rushed to the hospital, the place Wright was pronounced lifeless. The kid stays hospitalised.

    The motive behind the brutal assault continues to be unknown.
