    World War II-era bomb washes up on Englewood Beach in Florida – NBC 6 South Florida

    A World Struggle II-era bomb washed ashore on a Florida seaside final week—earlier than unassuming youngsters took photographs and touched it, in line with authorities.

    The bomb was discovered by youngsters at Englewood Seaside, about 32 miles south of Sarasota, on Wednesday.

    They noticed it coated in barnacles and initially believed that they had been a scuba tank, in line with NBC6 affiliate Gulf Coast News.

    Authorities later acknowledged that the bomb was inactive and transported to the MacDill Air Power Base.
