    Wednesday Continues Its First Place Stronghold

    The discharge of 4 new episodes ensured Netflix’s Wednesday remained on the prime of Nielsen’s Prime 10 Total Streaming chart for the week of Sept. 8.

    The Jenna Ortega-led comedy collection is enjoying its second consecutive week in first place with 2.069 billion viewing minutes. All eight episodes of Wednesday’s second season accounted for 80% of its complete watch time, with the most recent launch making up 58% of that point.

    In response to Nielsen Streaming Content material Rankings, solely two titles had greater than a billion viewing minutes, each of them belonging to Netflix. The streamer continued to have a robust presence on the chart with six titles, one in every of which had shared distribution rights. 

    Touchdown in second place and making its debut on the chart was Tyler Perry’s Magnificence in Black, which had 1.337 billion minutes considered. Taking fifth place was the docuseries aka Charlie Sheen, which gave Netflix 849 million considered minutes in its first look on the chart.  

    The underside half of the chart was comprised of Disney+’s Bluey, which dropped by one spot with 823 million viewing minutes. It was adopted by Netflix’s Orphan Black with 773 million minutes considered for the week of Sept. 8.

    The Hulu and Netflix shared title, Gray’s Anatomy, landed in eighth place with 669 million viewing minutes. HBO Max’s The Massive Bang Concept occupied the No. 9 place with 596 million minutes considered. 

    The ultimate spot belonged to Hulu’s Bob’s Burgers, which cooked up 591 million viewing minutes for the concluded week.
