St Mary, Jamaica — The lifeless physique of an unidentified lady was found alongside the Devon Pen important street in St Mary on Sunday, sending shockwaves via the neighborhood.

The physique, wrapped in a blue tarpaulin, was discovered by residents who instantly alerted the authorities.

In line with police reviews, the deceased is believed to be in her late 20s, of darkish complexion, and had a number of tattoos on her chest, thighs, and proper shoulder. She was wearing a white t-shirt, blue underwear, and black socks on the time of her discovery.

Preliminary investigations point out that the sufferer bore indicators of strangulation and a number of abrasions on her physique. Distressingly, she gave the impression to be roughly six months pregnant.

This tragic incident marks the primary reported homicide for the parish of St Mary in 2025. The St Mary police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the lady’s loss of life and are interesting to the general public for help in figuring out the sufferer or offering data that would help their inquiries.

Anybody with data is urged to contact the St Mary police or Crime Cease at 311.
