KINGSTON, Jamaica – A teenage woman has died following a brutal assault at an condo advanced off Spanish City Street in St. Andrew on Thursday.

The deceased has been recognized as 15-year-old Value Williams, previously of Haile Selassie Excessive College. Williams was attacked by a person, believed to be mentally unstable, at Palm Grove Courtroom round 2:30 pm.

Reviews point out the woman was alone in her condo when the assailant compelled his approach in. He then sexually assaulted her and beat her with a hammer.

The woman’s screams alerted a male resident, who intervened. The resident was stabbed by the attacker, who then fled the scene.
The injured teen was rushed to the hospital, the place she later succumbed to her accidents.

Witnesses reported seeing a person matching the attacker’s description strolling alongside Maxfield Avenue with blood on his garments.
The police have launched a manhunt for the suspect.
