The Spanish City-based St. Jago Excessive College is the General Winner for St. Catherine within the Jamaica Cultural Improvement Fee (JCDC) Performing Arts Competitors.
At a current awards ceremony held on the St. Catherine Excessive College, the establishment walked away with 5 trophies and $50,000 in money.
Along with being the general winner, St. Jago was named the Prime Excessive College, the Zone Winner for Spanish City, and took first place in Speech and Drama.
The ceremony was held to recognise faculties or teams which have carried out effectively within the Competition of the Performing Arts within the areas of speech, music, dance and conventional folks varieties throughout the interval February to March.
Talking with JIS Information on the occasion, Drama Instructor at St. Jago Excessive, Vanessa Gardner Ranor mentioned the college group is happy with the achievement.
