A person who reportedly eluded the police for over a decade was arrested and charged final week, in relation to a double homicide in St Elizabeth.

He’s 41-year-old Andre Daniels, a labourer of Center Quarters District

Daniels is charged with 2 counts of homicide, wounding with intent, unlawful possession of firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and assault at frequent regulation.

This in relation to an incident in his group on Thursday, June 9, 2011.

Stories from the Black River police are that Daniels visited a lady, with whom he had an ongoing challenge, at her home.

Whereas there, he reportedly pulled a firearm from his waistband and opened hearth on the occupants, hitting three individuals.

Daniels then escaped on foot within the space.

The three wounded individuals have been taken to the hospital,

Two males have been pronounced useless.

They have been later recognized as 24-year-old Andrew Gray and 19-year-old Dave Davis, each of Center Quarters.

The third individual was admitted for remedy.

An official report was made to the police and an investigation was launched.

Final Tuesday, December 16, Daniels was arrested throughout a focused operation.

He was charged following a question-and-answer session.

A courtroom date is being organized.
