PORTLAND, Jamaica — The swift motion of Portland police led to the arrest of seven individuals on Thursday after they had been allegedly caught vandalising and stealing web cables.

The group — which incorporates six males and a pregnant girl — reportedly struck on Wednesday evening, chopping down wires that join the communities of Orange Bay and Windsor Citadel.

Residents within the space reportedly noticed the suspects within the act and managed to apprehend them earlier than calling the police.

Movies despatched to McKoy’s Information present officers from the Buff Bay Police Station recovering what seemed to be a number of hundred metres of the stolen wires.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing.
