    Selector Among Two Men Charged for Illegal Firearm in Clarendon

    Clarendon, Jamaica – A selector is amongst two males charged with possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorized possession of ammunition following a police operation in Toll Gate, Clarendon, on Monday, January 27.

    The accused have been recognized as 22-year-old Javone Brown, also called ‘Pitbull’, of Willow Shut, Portmore Pines, St. Catherine, and 33-year-old Ricardo McKenzie, a selector from Toll Gate, Clarendon.

    Based on reviews from the Might Pen police, round 3:45 p.m., lawmen appearing on intelligence executed a search warrant at a home occupied by Brown and McKenzie. In the course of the search, officers found a .38 Taurus pistol with 5 reside rounds hidden inside a wardrobe in McKenzie’s bed room.

    Each males have been arrested on the scene and brought into custody.

    Following a warning assertion, Brown and McKenzie have been collectively charged on Tuesday, January 28. They’re scheduled to look earlier than the Clarendon Parish Court docket on Friday, January 31.

    The investigation stays ongoing as police proceed efforts to fight unlawful firearms within the parish.
