    Sales Representative Charged in $3.8M Fraud Case

    A 34-year-old gross sales consultant has been charged in reference to the alleged embezzlement of practically $4 million from her employer, following the findings of an inside audit.

    The accused, Lorian Hyde, of Glendale Avenue, Kingston 10, was formally charged with larceny as a servant, based on a police assertion issued on Friday.

    The cost stems from irregularities reportedly uncovered in buyer account transactions between October 2023 and November 2024. The inner audit revealed that Hyde allegedly collected roughly $3.8 million from numerous purchasers however didn’t remit the funds to her employer.

    The matter was reported to the Half-Means Tree Police, prompting an investigation. Hyde was taken into custody on Tuesday and subsequently charged on Thursday following a question-and-answer session performed within the presence of her legal professional.
