A St Catherine resident is to face the courts after police reportedly uncovered cocaine throughout an operation at his Portmore residence on Wednesday.

The accused has been recognized as 49-year-old Garth Forbes of Passage Fort, Portmore. In line with the Better Portmore police, a staff of officers performed an early-morning search at his residence at about 4:15 a.m.

In the course of the operation, legislation enforcement personnel allegedly discovered cocaine hidden beneath a mattress inside the home. Forbes was taken into custody on the scene and later charged with possession of cocaine and dealing in cocaine.

He’s scheduled to look earlier than the St Catherine Parish Court docket on Friday, January 23.
