ST CATHERINE, Jamaica — Police have charged 29-year-old landscaper Rushane Creary of the Time and Endurance district in Linstead following the reported discovery of a firearm and ammunition at his residence.

In accordance with the Spanish City police, Creary is dealing with costs for possession of a prohibited weapon and unauthorised possession of ammunition stemming from an operation performed on January 8.

Regulation enforcement officers stated a group of officers, appearing on a search warrant, went to Creary’s dwelling at roughly 7:00 a.m. final Thursday. In the course of the search, a Smith & Wesson 9mm pistol was allegedly discovered inside a room, together with {a magazine} containing ten 9mm rounds.

Creary was taken into custody and later formally charged after collaborating in a question-and-answer interview performed within the presence of his legal professional, police confirmed.

He’s scheduled to look earlier than the St Catherine Parish Courtroom on Friday.
