    Jamaican students in Cuba encouraged to prepare for possible emergency evacuation, if fuel situation there worsens

    Jamaican college students in Cuba are being inspired to be ready for potential emergency evacuation if the gas scenario there worsens.

    International Affairs Minister Kamina Johnson-Smith stated the federal government is monitoring the scenario and is in contact with the affected college students.

    Talking at yesterdays put up cupboard press briefing Johnson-Smith defined that, for some college students, their establishments have quickly closed down, whereas for others, their establishments have resorted to a digital modality.

    Johnson-Smith stated some college students have determined to return dwelling.

    The minister stated the federal government has taken steps to help the affected college students.

    These embrace, holding discussions with native establishments about permitting the scholars to proceed research in Jamaica, if the disruption in Cuba persists.

    The affected college students had been inspired to seek the advice of with their mother and father and Cuban establishments on the choices obtainable to them.
