Irish humanitarian employee Gena Heraty has been safely launched after practically a month in captivity in Haiti, her household confirmed Friday.
Heraty, from Westport, County Mayo, was kidnapped on August 3, 2025, together with seven others—together with a three-year-old youngster—from the Sainte-Hélène orphanage in Kenscoff, the place she has labored for over 30 years.
