    Iowa Attorney General investigating UI staffer’s DEI comments

    Sherry Bates is president of the Board of Regents, which oversees the college.
    “I want to tackle the report about school and workers not adhering to state and federal legislation concerning DEI,” Board of Regents president Sherry Bates stated this morning as she convened the board that governs UI for its July assembly. “That is unacceptable.
