    Hanover Farmer Charged with Murder

    Lucea, Hanover: A farmer from Pell River in Hanover is now dealing with homicide prices following a deadly capturing final 12 months.

    Romaine Cunningham, 32, also referred to as ‘Mango’, was arrested and charged on December 28, 2024, for the homicide of 41-year-old Sheldon Salmon, a labourer from the identical group.

    The incident occurred on January 21, 2024, at roughly 8:40 p.m. In keeping with the Inexperienced Island Police, Salmon was at his dwelling when a number of males knocked on his door, claiming to be law enforcement officials. When Salmon refused to open the door, the lads reportedly compelled entry and opened fireplace, putting Salmon a number of occasions. The assailants then fled the scene.

    Salmon was subsequently transported to the hospital for remedy however succumbed to his accidents on December 26, 2024.
    Following his arrest, Cunningham was interviewed within the presence of his lawyer and subsequently charged with homicide.

    The investigation into this matter continues.
