    Floral Tribute for Michael Manley – Jamaica Information Service

    Floral tributes have been laid on the shrine of the late former Prime Minister, Most Hon. Michael Manley, to mark the a hundred and first anniversary of his delivery, at Nationwide Heroes Park in Kingston on Wednesday (December 10).

    Mrs. Glynne Manley (fourth proper), widow of late former Prime Minister, Most Hon. Michael Manley (fourth proper) and Mr. Manley’s son, Joseph (third proper), are joined by dignitaries at a floral tribute to mark the a hundred and first anniversary of Mr. Manley’s delivery at Nationwide Heroes Park in Kingston on December 10. From left are Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Andrew Swaby; Basic Secretary of the Nationwide Employees Union (NWU), Granville Valentine; President of the Senate, Senator the Hon. Thomas Tavares-Finson; State Minister within the Ministry of Labour and Social Safety, Hon. Donovan Williams; Supernumerary Everlasting Secretary, Ministry of Tradition, Gender, Leisure and Sport, Dean-Roy Bernard; and representing the Chief of the Opposition, Member of Parliament for St. Andrew South Western, Dr. Angela Brown- Burke.

     

    Mrs. Glynne Manley, widow of late former Prime Minister, Most Hon. Michael Manley, lays a floral association at his shrine at Nationwide Heroes Park in Kingston on December 10, to commemorate the a hundred and first anniversary of his delivery. Mrs. Manley was joined by dignitaries and different relations in honouring the legacy of Mr. Manley, who was born on December 10, 1924, and died on March 6, 1997.

     

    Joseph Manley, son of the late former Prime Minister, Most Hon. Michael Norman Manley, seems to be at {a photograph} of his father, throughout a floral tribute to mark the a hundred and first anniversary of Mr. Manley’s delivery at Nationwide Heroes Park in Kingston on December 10.
