    Information Americas, NEW YORK, NY, Mon. Sept. 29, 2025: The newest album from legendary producer Collin ‘Bulby’ York, 5, brings a contemporary but acquainted sound to roots reggae followers. The fifth studio album underneath the Bulby York Music label, 5, options remixes of basic roots tracks, all with revamped rhythms. It hit all digital platforms on Friday, September twenty sixth.

    For this album, York took a visit down reminiscence lane, revisiting his Fats Eyes Productions vault to breathe new life into timeless tracks like “Marcus Garvey,” that includes the late Third World vocalist Bunny Rugs, “Brother to Brother” with velvet-voiced singer Beres Hammond and Junior Tucker, “Babylon Burning” with the late Cocoa Tea, and “Cover and Search” that includes Freddie McGregor.

    “I’m 5 chapters deep into the ebook of roots,” York shares. “Every track is a web page, and every rhythm is a heartbeat. I’m excited to share this new mission with all of you.

    The 5 album additionally contains lately dropped singles from fan-favorite reggae band Morgan Heritage (“Stable Lady”) and rising singer D’yani (“No Extra Time”).

    With over 35 years of expertise as a Grammy-winning producer, arranger, and engineer, Bulby York has collaborated with a various vary of artists, from Dancehall legend Shabba Ranks and iconic duo Sly & Robbie, to worldwide superstars like Cyndi Lauper, Britney Spears, UB40, Chaka Khan, and Sean Paul.

    In 1993, he co-founded the Fats Eyes label with Lynford ‘Fatta’ Marshal, the place they produced Dancehall anthems like “Recollections” with Beenie Man and “Suspense” with Bounty Killer. York later ventured out on his personal in 2016, launching Bulby York Music with the Epic and Ting album. He adopted it up with Grasp Blaster (2018), Heartcrafted (2020), and Time and Colour (2023).

    His fifth studio album, 5, seamlessly blends his previous and current work, showcasing his development and evolution as an artist and producer.

    “This album is a mirrored image, a revelation, and a reminder that the journey is the reward,” York says.

    5 is accessible on all digital platforms.
