THOMPSON PEN, St. Catherine –  A joint police/navy operation in Outdated Street, Thompson Pen, led to the seizure of 4 pistols, three 9mm rounds of ammunition, and the arrest of 1 man on Sunday, following a taking pictures incident the earlier night time.

In keeping with the Spanish City Police, at roughly 10:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 5, three people — together with two girls — have been at a store once they have been attacked by gunmen on foot. The assailants opened fireplace, injuring all three victims. They have been rushed to hospital, with one man reported to be in crucial situation.

In swift response to the assault, safety forces launched a joint operation within the space. Round 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, a search of a home occupied by a person uncovered 4 pistols and three rounds of 9mm ammunition.

The person was taken into custody. His identification is being withheld pending additional investigations.

The St. Catherine North Police Division continues to analyze each the taking pictures and the firearm seizure, working to ascertain any connection between the 2 incidents and to establish extra suspects.
