    Elderly Woman Dies After Gas Stove Explosion in Linstead

    St Catherine, Jamaica – The Linstead police are probing the tragic loss of life of a 92-year-old girl who died after a gasoline range explosion at her residence within the Jericho district of St Catherine on Monday afternoon.

    She has been recognized as Gloria Oldham, a long-time resident of the agricultural St Catherine group.

    Reviews reaching McKoy’s Information are that round 4:30 p.m., Oldham was at residence when she tried to gentle a gasoline range. Moments later, a loud explosion rocked the premises, reportedly engulfing her in flames.

    The aged girl sustained extreme burns to her physique and was rushed to the Linstead Hospital, the place she later succumbed to her accidents whereas present process therapy.
