    Man Shot Dead After Disrupting Burial at Dovecot Memorial Park

    St. Catherine, Jamaica – December 31, 2024 – A 23-year-old man, recognized as Isaac Foster from Penny Piece District in Kitson City, St. Catherine, was shot lifeless on Monday after disrupting a burial on the Dovecot Memorial Park.

    In line with studies, the incident occurred round 2:15 pm. A video of the occasion has since surfaced on social media.

    Witnesses reported that Foster, believed to be of unsound thoughts, approached the graveside and disrupted the funeral proceedings. The police report particulars that Foster allegedly struck a mourner on the pinnacle with a concrete block and tried to take away the physique from the casket.

    He then reportedly started throwing stones on the mourners, together with two licensed firearm holders.

    The police report states that Foster superior in the direction of the licensed firearm holders, who, fearing for his or her lives, discharged their weapons, hitting Foster. Legislation enforcement officers arrived on the scene and upon seeing the armed people, discharged their firearms into the air. They then instructed each males to drop their weapons, which they complied with.

    Foster and an injured mourner had been transported to the Spanish City Hospital. Medical doctors pronounced Foster lifeless upon arrival. The mourner obtained remedy for his accidents and was later launched.

    The incident is at present beneath investigation by the Jamaican Constabulary Power.
