KINGSTON, Jamaica — After years away in the US, internationally acclaimed dancehall artiste David ‘Mavado’ Brooks made a triumphant return to Jamaica, touchdown in Kingston on Tuesday evening from Miami, Florida.
The Cassava Piece, St Andrew native made a rapid pit cease for a coconut jelly to “wash off his coronary heart” earlier than heading to a late-night boardroom assembly on the S Resort in Kingston, mixing a contact of native flavour with business-minded goal.
Upon arrival, Mavado was warmly greeted by Delano Seiveright, Member of Parliament for St Andrew North Central and Minister of State within the Ministry of Trade, Funding & Commerce.
