    Dancehall Star Mavado Returns to Jamaica, Greets Fans and Officials in Kingston

    KINGSTON, Jamaica — After years away in the US, internationally acclaimed dancehall artiste David ‘Mavado’ Brooks made a triumphant return to Jamaica, touchdown in Kingston on Tuesday evening from Miami, Florida.

    The Cassava Piece, St Andrew native made a rapid pit cease for a coconut jelly to “wash off his coronary heart” earlier than heading to a late-night boardroom assembly on the S Resort in Kingston, mixing a contact of native flavour with business-minded goal.

    Upon arrival, Mavado was warmly greeted by Delano Seiveright, Member of Parliament for St Andrew North Central and Minister of State within the Ministry of Trade, Funding & Commerce. Additionally in attendance was Senator Abka Fitz-Henley, minister within the Workplace of the Prime Minister, making it an evening of music, politics, and celebration.

    Followers and onlookers expressed pleasure at seeing the dancehall heavyweight again on residence soil, with many noting that his return marks a big second for the native music and leisure scene.

    Mavado’s return is predicted to incorporate each performances and engagements, bridging his worldwide acclaim together with his Jamaican roots.
