    Castle Rock man faces life in prison for sexually assaulting children

    A former Citadel Rock resident could spend the remainder of his life in jail after sexually assaulting three kids whereas he lived there, in line with judicial officers.

    Eugene Howard Glimpse, 55, was sentenced Tuesday to 32 years to life in jail after he was convicted by a Douglas County jury in January of sexually assaulting three kids between ages 5 and eight, in line with courtroom information.

    The jury discovered Glimpse responsible of three counts of sexual assault on a baby, enticement of a kid and sexual assault on a baby by an individual ready of belief — all felonies, courtroom information present.

    “Candidly, it’s not sufficient,” twenty third Judicial District Legal professional George Brauchler said in a Thursday information launch. “He sentenced these harmless youngsters to a lifetime of trauma. This doesn’t really feel like justice, however it’s all our legal guidelines permit.”

    Glimpse assaulted the kids between 2002 and 2012 whereas he lived in Citadel Rock. He later moved to Texas and was returned to Colorado in 2023 after a warrant was issued for his arrest.
