    Bus Conductor Charged in Old Harbour Sexual Assault Case

    A bus conductor has been charged in reference to a reported sexual assault that allegedly occurred in Previous Harbour, St Catherine, in November 2019, police have confirmed.

    The accused has been recognized as 50-year-old Shalton Bailey, in any other case often called ‘Owie’, of Mickelton Meadows, Linstead. The cost was introduced in a police assertion launched on Thursday.

    Investigators from the Spanish City Police Division reported that Bailey allegedly met a girl at a bar, the place he supplied her employment. The lady later accompanied him to a close-by home after he claimed he wanted to gather a key.

    Police mentioned that after contained in the premises, Bailey allegedly locked the lady in and sexually assaulted her.

    The incident was later reported to the authorities, prompting an investigation. Bailey was subsequently taken into custody and later charged following a question-and-answer session carried out within the presence of his lawyer.

    The matter stays earlier than the courts.
