    Police Constable Hospitalised After Being Impaled During Westmoreland Operation

    Westmoreland, Jamaica – A police constable is in severe however secure situation after being impaled by a chunk of steel throughout an early morning operation in Paradise, Savanna-la-Mar, Westmoreland on Thursday.

    The incident occurred round 6:15 a.m. whereas a workforce of officers was conducting an operation within the space. Studies point out that the constable tried to climb over a fence however misplaced his footing and fell onto a protruding steel object, which pierced his chest.

    His colleagues instantly rendered help and transported him to the Savanna-la-Mar Hospital, the place he was admitted for therapy.

    The Jamaica Constabulary Power has not launched the officer’s id however confirmed that he stays below medical care. The circumstances surrounding the incident are being reviewed, whilst police proceed operations within the space.
