    Boscobel Teen Charged in Murder of Businessman Garfield Singh

    A 17-year-old resident of Boscobel, St Mary, has been formally charged in reference to the deadly taking pictures of 59-year-old businessman Garfield Singh.

    {The teenager} faces expenses of conspiracy to rob and possession of prison property. He’s now amongst 4 people accused within the matter, becoming a member of Police Constables Qwaine Blake and Daz Hayne, in addition to Tyrone Dacosta. The three males had been charged on Thursday, February 19. A courtroom date is at present being organized.

    Investigators from the Port Maria police division reported that about 3:30 a.m. final Monday, residents heard loud banging noises adopted by explosions sounding like gunfire at Singh’s residence in Boscobel. The police had been alerted and responded to the placement.

    Upon arrival, Singh was found affected by a number of gunshot wounds. He was taken to hospital, the place he was later pronounced lifeless.

    Following intensive investigations, a file was compiled and submitted to the Workplace of the Director of Public Prosecutions for steerage. Legislation enforcement officers say the 17-year-old was subsequently charged after offering a warning assertion detailing his alleged function within the crime.

    The case stays earlier than the courtroom because the authorized course of strikes ahead.
