    Grief counselling teams delployed at Jesse Ripoll Primary – Jamaica Inquirer

    The Ministry of Training Ministry has activated its trauma and grief counselling groups to offer quick assist to the scholars and employees of Jesse Ripoll Main Faculty starting in the present day, January 6.

    College students are anticipated to return to highschool on Tuesday, throughout which era, a bigger counselling staff is predicted to be readily available to assist the scholars. 

    This follows the tragic passing of the school’s principal O’Neil Stevens on Friday in the United States. Stevens and his spouse Camesha Lindsay-Stevens succumbed to accidents they sustained in a motorcar accident on Friday.

    Senator Dr Dana Morris Dixon, Minister of Training, Abilities, Youth, and Info, prolonged heartfelt condolences on behalf of the ministry to the household and mates of Stevens, in addition to to the complete Jesse Ripoll Main Faculty neighborhood.

    “The information of Mr Stevens’ premature passing is a profound loss to the training fraternity and the nation. He was greater than an exemplary chief; he was a beacon of inspiration and dedication. His imaginative and prescient for excellence in training and his steadfast dedication to the holistic growth of our college students left an indelible mark on the Jesse Ripoll Main Faculty neighborhood.”

    Alongside the principal, his spouse Camesha was described as a “supportive associate and a cherished presence to the prolonged faculty household, at all times contributing with grace and generosity.”

    “On behalf of the ministry, I specific our deepest condolences to the Stevens household, mates, and the Jesse Ripoll faculty household. It is a tragic begin to the brand new Easter faculty time period, and our hearts are heavy with grief,” Morris Dixon stated.

    Within the meantime, the ministry urges the general public to maintain the household and college neighborhood of their ideas and prayers throughout this troublesome time.
