    Arrest made in fatal hit-and-run of Escondido boy

    Escondido Police officers arrested an Escondido man Saturday in reference to the hit-and-run loss of life of an 11-year-old boy on November 26.

    Hector Balderas Amador, 44, was booked into the Vista Detention Facility Saturday on suspicion of felony hit and run inflicting loss of life. The automobile concerned within the crash was additionally recovered, in response to police.

    Officers responded Wednesday at about 5 p.m. to the 400 block of East Washington Avenue, on the intersection of Hickory Avenue, the place they discovered Aiden Antonio Torres De Paz injured after being struck by a automobile within the roadway in entrance of his home, in response to Lt. Craig Miller.

    Miller mentioned the driving force then left the scene.

    Witnesses mentioned Aiden went into the road to retrieve a soccer ball when he was hit.

    He was transported to Rady Kids’s Hospital in San Diego the place he succumbed to his accidents Thanksgiving morning, police mentioned.

    Balderas was listed on the jail log Saturday as being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, with an arraignment scheduled for Wednesday in Vista Superior Courtroom.
