    Kingston Vendor Faces Rape, Firearm Charges

    KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 39-year-old vendor from downtown Kingston has been charged in reference to the alleged rape of a girl at gunpoint in January. Police recognized the person as Dean Thompson, often known as Dean Anderson, of Fourth Road.

    An announcement launched by the Centre for Investigation of Sexual Offences and Little one Abuse (CISOCA) on Monday detailed the fees in opposition to Thompson. He’s dealing with expenses of rape, forcible abduction, aiding and abetting grievous sexual assault, aiding and abetting possession of a prohibited weapon, and assault at widespread regulation.

    The alleged incident occurred on January eleventh at roughly 7 p.m. within the Three Miles space of St. Andrew.

    Police stories state that Thompson allegedly kidnapped the lady and transported her to a residence the place they met Troy Lewis. Lewis was beforehand arrested and charged in reference to the identical incident.

    In line with investigators, Lewis allegedly brandished a firearm and demanded intercourse from the lady. Each Lewis and Thompson are then alleged to have sexually assaulted her. The lady was launched the next morning and promptly reported the incident to the police.

    Thompson is scheduled to seem within the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Courtroom on February twenty sixth. The investigation is ongoing.
