    Altercation Preceded Fatal El Cajon Stabbing, Police Said After Arrest of Suspect

    A 24-year-old man was in jail Saturday in reference to the fatal stabbing of an El Cajon resident.

    At round 2:40 a.m. Tuesday, officers responded to reviews of a person down within the 200 block of Cypress Avenue, in accordance with the El Cajon Police Department.

    The sufferer, recognized as Josiah Kamillus McNeil, 20, was taken to a hospital, the place he died a short while later, the division stated Friday.

    “Throughout the investigation, detectives decided that the sufferer and the suspect have been identified to one another and have been concerned in a bodily altercation previous to the stabbing,” police stated.

    At about 10 a.m. Thursday, police arrested Manuel Junior Aparicio with out incident within the 900 block of F Road in San Diego.

    Aparicio was booked into San Diego Central Jail on suspicion of homicide and is being held with out bail.

    Authorities urged anybody with info to contact police at 619-579-3311 or submit nameless tricks to San Diego County Crime Stoppers.
