    New Haven, St Andrew – A person police say was a recognized member of the Beng Gang was shot and killed on Saturday after allegedly confronting legislation enforcement officers with a sub-machine gun.

    The deceased has been recognized as 30-year-old Kurt Thompson of Buckhan Avenue, Kingston.

    In line with police stories, Thompson was seen strolling with a firearm in hand whereas officers had been conducting a curfew patrol within the New Haven group.
