ST JAMES, Jamaica — Authorities have launched a seek for 5 prisoners who escaped custody on the Barnett Avenue Police Station in St James early Saturday, December 14. The escape reportedly occurred between 5:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m.

    The escapees are:

    • Edgar Spence, 42, charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

    • Tidel Ferguson, 36, charged with larceny of a motorcar.

    • Tyrese Brown, 22, charged with homicide and rape.

    • Daniel McIntosh, 23, charged with possession of a prohibited weapon.

    • Maurice Belnavis, 43, charged with easy larceny.

The Jamaica Constabulary Pressure (JCF) is urging the general public to help in finding the fugitives and guarantee their secure apprehension. Anybody with data is inspired to contact police emergency at 119, Crime Cease at 311, or the closest police station.

The JCF reassures the general public of its dedication to security as investigations proceed.
