    Kingston Mayor urges vendors in Downtown to desist blocking roads

    Mayor of Kingston Andrew Swaby has urged distributors in personal city to desist blocking roadways, following complaints.

    He acknowledged the distributors’ contribution to town’s financial system however careworn that consideration have to be given, in terms of security and entry alongside roadways. 

    Talking on the Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Company month-to-month assembly on Tuesday, the Mayor famous that first responders have raised issues about visitors impediments. 

    Mayor Swaby mentioned measures taken in sections of Downtown are aimed toward sustaining public order. 

    He additional said that an orderly atmosphere augurs effectively for security and elevated financial exercise.
