    Kingston Vendor Charged with Gun-Related Offences Following Police Raid

    KINGSTON, Jamaica – A 25-year-old vendor has been charged with a number of gun-related offences following a late-night police operation in Kingston.

    Aaron Leslie, in any other case generally known as ‘Gun Skool,’ of Delacree Lane, Kingston 11, was apprehended on Thursday throughout a snap raid performed by regulation enforcement officers in the neighborhood.

    In response to reviews from the Hunts Bay Prison Investigation Department (CIB), the fees stem from an incident earlier this 12 months. A person was reportedly standing exterior his gate when two males have been seen jogging towards him. Upon nearing the person, Leslie allegedly pointed a firearm at him, inflicting him to flee in concern for his life. The sufferer managed to flee unhurt and later reported the incident to the police.

    Following investigations, Leslie was taken into custody on Monday, February 3. He was formally charged after a question-and-answer session performed within the presence of his lawyer.

    Leslie now faces prices of possession of a prohibited weapon, utilizing a firearm to commit a felony, and assault at widespread regulation.

    The police proceed to induce residents to report unlawful firearm actions as they intensify efforts to curb gun violence within the space.
