A motorcyclist died Thursday after hitting the middle barrier on Interstate 76 close to Eagle Boulevard on Thursday afternoon.
The 82-year-old driver was touring eastbound on the interstate at about 1:50 p.m. Thursday when she hit the middle barrier for unknown causes, in line with Brighton police. She was ejected from the motorbike, which then rolled over the cable barrier and into the westbound lanes of the interstate. The motorbike struck one other car, although the driving force of that car didn’t maintain any accidents.
The motorcyclist was taken to a close-by hospital, the place she died shortly after.
The id of the motorcyclist is being withheld till subsequent of kin will be notified, in line with the information launch from the Brighton Police Division. The division’s visitors security unit doesn’t imagine medicine, alcohol or velocity performed a job within the crash.
