    Man Shot Dead at His Shop in Coopers Hill, St Andrew

    ST ANDREW, Jamaican — A person was shot and killed at his store in Coopers Hill, St Andrew, throughout the early hours of Tuesday morning.

    The deceased has been recognized as 31-year-old Lamar Lindo.

    Experiences from the police are that about 1:25 a.m., Lindo was at his store when he was attacked by unknown assailants who opened gunfire, hitting him a number of occasions.

    The police have been alerted and upon their arrival, Lindo was assisted to the Kingston Public Hospital, the place he was pronounced useless.

    Detectives from the Fixed Spring Prison Investigation Department are investigating the incident.
