MANCHESTER, Jamaica — A person mentioned to be a automotive wash attendant was apprehended in Mandeville, Manchester on Tuesday after stealing a Honda motorcar from his office in Might Pen, Clarendon.

Experiences are that round 3:00 pm, the proprietor of a Honda Stepwagon left her automobile at a automotive wash in Might Pen. Shortly after, she was alerted that an attendant had pushed away the automobile.

The automotive was later tracked to a closely vegetated space on the outskirts of Mandeville, and the police have been notified.

Throughout a search operation, officers tried to intercept the stolen automobile on Caledonia Highway close to a fast-food outlet. Throughout a chase, the motive force hit a number of autos and ultimately crashed the automotive right into a utility pole.

Two different males who have been within the automobile escaped on foot, and a shootout reportedly ensued earlier than the motive force was captured.

Investigators consider the lads have been planning a theft spree in Mandeville.

The incident brought on panic within the space, with individuals fleeing after listening to explosions and witnessing chaotic scenes. Police cordoned off a bit of Caledonia Highway as they carried out their operations.

The swift police response led to the restoration of the stolen automobile and the apprehension of the suspect.
