    Information Americas, New York, NY, Could 6, 2025: Caribbean-American stars lit up the crimson carpet with glamour and cultural delight final evening on the 2025 Met Gala in New York Metropolis. This 12 months’s theme, “Superfine: Tailoring Black Fashion,” paid homage to Black dandyism and the ability of style in shaping Black identification — and Caribbean-rooted celebrities introduced that theme to life with class and aptitude.

    Main the evening’s type parade was Barbados-born Rihanna, radiant and expectant along with her third baby. The style mogul turned heads in a customized Marc Jacobs ensemble — a wonderfully tailor-made go well with that highlighted her child bump, topped with a dramatic wide-brimmed hat.

    ASAP Rocky, whose father is Barbadian, introduced Harlem swag and Caribbean delight to his co-chair position. The rapper wore a customized AWGE parka-inspired double-breasted jacket in technical wool with Marmot-style particulars — a tribute to Harlem road style and his personal Caribbean roots.

    One other co-chair, Grenadian-descended F1 champion Lewis Hamilton, walked the carpet with trademark sophistication, exhibiting that pace and magnificence can go hand in hand.

    Belizean roots actor Colman Domingo turned the crimson carpet into his private stage in a pleated cape with an embellished collar. Beneath, a pointy Valentino go well with underscored the class of up to date Black tailoring.
