    Caribbean Talent Shines On Chris Brown’s Grammy-Winning Album  – Jamaica Inquirer

    Information Americas, New York, NY, February 3, 2025:The Caribbean’s affect on world music was as soon as once more highlighted on the 67th Grammy Awards, as Saint Lucian producer Johann “Yogi” Deterville and St. Kitts and Nevis dancehall star Byron Messia performed key roles in Chris Brown’s Grammy-winning album, 11:11 (Deluxe). The album secured the award for Greatest R&B Album, marking a serious victory for Caribbean expertise on the world stage.

    Deterville, broadly referred to as“Yogidaproducer,” has now formally joined the ranks of Grammy-winning producers, whereas Messia’s collaboration on the album additional solidified his rising affect within the worldwide music scene.

    Hailing from Anse La Raye, Saint Lucia, Deterville expressed immense pleasure in representing his island at such a prestigious degree. He emphasised the importance of this second, stating, “That is an unbelievable alternative to showcase Caribbean expertise on a worldwide scale.”
