    Woman returns home after three decades missing – Jamaica Inquirer

    A outstanding story of perseverance and hope unfolded Tuesday morning at VC Hen Worldwide Airport as 56-year-old Denise Odelia Charles stepped onto Antiguan soil for the primary time in over three many years.

    Charles, who had been lacking since late 1992, arrived on a personal jet chartered by the Venezuelan authorities shortly after 10 am, ending a 32-year, 5-month absence that had left her household in a state of painful uncertainty.

    Amongst these welcoming her had been her brother Terrence Charles and nephew Tishorn Watson, who had travelled to Venezuela to accompany her on the ultimate leg of her journey dwelling.

    Prime Minister Gaston Browne was personally current for the historic homecoming having assisted the household in getting their liked one dwelling.

    Particulars surrounding Charles’ three-decade keep in Venezuela stay restricted. Sources near the household point out she is predicted to share her extraordinary story within the coming weeks as soon as she has had time to readjust and reconnect with family members.
