    Woman Killed in Drive-By Shooting on Park Lane, St Andrew

    ST ANDREW, Jamaica — Fifty-year-old Janet Baker was shot and killed in a drive-by assault on Park Lane, off Crimson Hills Street, late Sunday, police report.

    The incident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. throughout a bingo ‘round-robin’ occasion. Investigators say a automobile pulled up, and its occupants opened hearth, hitting Baker, who was later pronounced useless at hospital. The automobile fled the scene.
