MORANT BAY, St Thomas – A 28-year-old taxi operator from Whitehall, St Thomas, has been charged with the alleged rape of a teenage woman. The incident reportedly occurred on Tuesday, March 11, within the Hillside district.

He’s recognized as Norrel McLune, in any other case often known as ‘Zye’ or ‘Hawkeye’.

In keeping with experiences from the Morant Bay police, McLune picked up the teenager whereas she was on her approach house. He’s then alleged to have pushed into a close-by bushy space, the place he sexually assaulted her.

Following a report back to the police, an investigation was launched. McLune was arrested and subsequently charged on Tuesday, August 26.

His courtroom date is being finalized.
