Westmoreland – Well being authorities in Westmoreland have begun a complete rodent management programme geared toward decreasing rat populations and bettering public well being in a number of communities.

The initiative targets areas together with Negril, Grange Hill, Savanna‑la‑Mar, Petersfield, Whitehouse, Darliston, and Bethel City. Officers stated the programme entails the strategic placement of rodent bait stations, common monitoring and re-baiting, in addition to clean-up operations to deal with circumstances that encourage rodent exercise.

Drain cleansing and different environmental administration measures will even be undertaken to sort out components contributing to rodent proliferation. Residents are being requested to cooperate by permitting entry to properties and avoiding interference with bait stations in the course of the train.

Authorities emphasised that the programme is a part of ongoing efforts to guard group well being and cut back the dangers related to rodent infestations
