    Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce president urges citizens to beware of persons requesting payments to reconnect electricity

    President of the Westmoreland Chamber of Commerce, Moses Chybar is urging residents to watch out for individuals requesting funds for electrical energy reconnection.

    Talking on the official launch, of the Jamaica Public Service, JPS Emergency Cellular Energy Technology Unit, in Darliston on Sunday, Mr. Chybar warned of the unlawful follow.

    He urged prospects to make a report concerning the matter to the JPS or the police.

    Within the meantime, Mr. Chybar additionally requested individuals to not breach the newly put in emergency cellular energy era unit.

    The unit offers interim provide of electrical energy, as restoration efforts proceed following the passage of class 5 hurricane Melissa.
