    West Indies win toss; opt to bowl first against India Women in first T20I

    Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], December 15 (ANI): West Indies Ladies’s skipper Hayley Matthews received the toss and elected to bowl first towards India Ladies within the first T20I of the three-match sequence on the DY Patil Sports activities Academy in Navi Mumbai on Sunday.

    For the Ladies in Blue, Saima Thakor is about to make her T20I debut, having already performed six ODIs for her nationwide aspect.

    “It appears to be like like a wicket that will not change a lot. It was good to have a number of web periods and get accustomed to the situations,” Hayley Matthews mentioned after profitable the toss.

    India Ladies’s skipper Harmanpreet Kaur acknowledged that had they received the toss, they might have chosen to bowl first as nicely.

    “We’d have undoubtedly bowled first. We now have finished rather well in India, which provides us a number of confidence. Saima Thakor is making her T20I debut right now. We now have three pacers. Minnu Mani, Raghvi Bist, Priya Mishra, and Nandini Kashyap are lacking out,” Kaur mentioned.
