The BBC is reporting that the USA has deployed the world’s largest warship, the USS Gerald R. Ford, to the Caribbean as a part of an intensified marketing campaign concentrating on regional drug traffickers.

US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the plane service to maneuver from the Mediterranean Sea to the waters off Latin America, marking a significant escalation in US army exercise within the area.

The USS Gerald R. Ford, which might carry as much as 90 plane, joins a rising American naval presence within the Caribbean that now consists of eight further warships, a nuclear submarine, and F-35 fighter jets.

In accordance with US defence reviews, the army has performed a collection of airstrikes on vessels linked to drug traffickers, with the latest strike happening immediately. Officers say the operation focused a ship allegedly operated by members of the Tren de Aragua gang, ensuing within the deaths of six males recognized as narco-terrorists.

The deployment represents probably the most vital US army build-ups within the Caribbean in recent times, as Washington intensifies efforts to dismantle transnational prison networks within the area.
