    Two Suspected Supermarket Robbers Fatally Shot in St James Police Operations

    ST JAMES, Jamaica — Two males believed to have been concerned within the theft of a Montego Bay grocery store on Tuesday evening—an incident that left two cops injured—had been fatally shot in separate focused operations by legislation enforcement on Wednesday night.

    In response to police sources, the primary suspect was killed throughout a confrontation with officers in Go Peace Lane, Salt Spring, round 4:00 p.m. A firearm, blood-stained clothes, sneakers, and cash suspected to have been stolen from the grocery store had been reportedly recovered on the scene.

    Lower than an hour later, police tracked down a second suspect within the Albion Lane space. Through the operation, the person allegedly engaged officers in a gunfight and was fatally shot. An unlawful firearm was additionally seized from the scene.

    Authorities have intensified operations throughout St James as they proceed to pursue different people linked to Tuesday evening’s grocery store robberies. Investigators are working to find out if the 2 slain males had been half of a bigger felony community working within the parish.

    In the meantime, the 2 injured cops stay underneath medical care. Their circumstances haven’t but been disclosed.
