Firefighters responded to an early morning blaze on Saturday that destroyed a two-storey construction alongside Barracks Street in Montego Bay.
Experiences point out that shortly earlier than 8:00 a.m., residents raised an alarm after thick smoke and flames had been noticed coming from the largely deserted constructing within the inner-city group.
Items from the Jamaica Fireplace Brigade, together with three vehicles from the Barnett Road Fireplace Station, had been dispatched to the situation. Firefighters managed to include the blaze, stopping it from spreading to close by properties. Among the many buildings in shut proximity was a storage used to service autos assigned to the Jamaica Constabulary Pressure.
The dwelling was extensively broken by the fireplace. One girl, recognized because the occupant of the premises, has been left homeless because of the incident.
