SPANISH TOWN, St Catherine — The Spanish City Legal Investigation Department (CIB) has launched a probe into the dying of 27-year-old Demari Lewis of Mountain Facet district, St Elizabeth, who’s suspected to have been electrocuted.

Police report that round 10:20 a.m. Wednesday, Lewis was discovered with electrical accidents on a tarpaulin atop a truck parked alongside Previous Harbour Street in Spanish City. He was transported to Spanish City Hospital, the place he was pronounced lifeless.

Authorities say the incident is suspected to be a case of dying by misadventure, and investigations are ongoing.
